| Changes to the Reservation System Effective immediately, reservations at North Bay Shore & Chute Pond campgrounds can made on-site by using a QR code. Site calendars will no longer be posted and camping payments will not be accepted at the paystation kiosk. Upon arrival, please scan the QR Code posted at a campsite to check availability & make a reservation. |
| The Water at Chute Pond & North Bay Shore Campground The water at Chute Pond, North Bay Shore Campground and fish cleaning station will be turned off the week of October 19, 2026 and will remain off until weather permits in the spring. - More Details |
Campers may make reservations up to a year in advance (from the start date), and reserve for a minimum of two nights (three nights on holiday weekends) and a maximum of 14 days. Reservations are made online, 2 days prior to your arrival. Campers can self-register at the campgound for an open site, and must pay at the automated pay station located at the boat launch.
Campers wishing to camp between October 15th and November 30th must self-register at the campground.
Campground is staffed from Memorial Day - Labor Day

Location Area
North Bay Shore Recreation Area is located on the west shore of Green Bay North of Oconto. Take Hwy. 41 North of Oconto or South of Peshtigo. Then follow the signs to the park.
